This exceptional Kamairicha was sourced from the Sakamoto family in Gokase, Miyazaki. We were blown away by the Sakamoto family's traditional preparation of this pan-fired style. In contrast to many teas produced in Kyushu today, this tea represents a much leaner style, focusing more on the delicate sophistication of the Yabukita cultivar, which servesa as the base of this blend, instead of a deep umami and rich texture. We cold stored 1kg of this supreme selection, reserved for a special occasion, and we are delighted to share it with you in celebration of our Los Angeles opening.
